PLG Welcomes Workers’ Compensation & SSD Attorney Jim Garver

Pond Lehocky Giordano is excited to welcome Jim Garver to our legal team. With over 25 years of experience advocating for injured workers, Jim has developed an exceptional understanding of both the workers’ compensation and Social Security disability systems. His guidance helps ensure that clients never face complex legal challenges alone.

Jim’s impressive journey began at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1993, followed by a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1996. Licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania, he has dedicated his career to fighting for the rights of injured workers.

A Blair County native, Jim’s commitment to his community is evident in everything he does. In 2020, the Altoona Mirror honored him with the Hometown Favorite Attorney Award, a recognition that speaks to the deep trust and respect he’s earned from the people he serves.

We’re also pleased to announce that Jim will be leading our new Altoona office, further expanding our reach throughout Pennsylvania. Joining him is his longtime paralegal, Lori Skibo, an integral part of his practice. Jim brings many of his dedicated clients with him from his previous firm, and we’re eager to provide them – and many more – with the top-notch service and passionate advocacy that define Pond Lehocky Giordano.
